Just an update of my latest WIP. I haven't had much chance to do much drawing lately due to wedding plans taking priority but this is nearly finished now and hopefully will be completed within the week.
I'm not overly happy with the eyes at this stage. The whites of the eyes seem either too big or the iris's are too small but not sure which. The whites definitely seem too intense with their whiteness so I'll be adding some slight tone to them.....I think.
There's something about the mouth which isn't or doesn't seem quite right also. I think it needs to be longer but I've spent so much time looking at this drawing now that I'm possibly over analysing it.
Anyway, as always critique is appreciated but please make it constructive.
Edit:- I've sorted my scanner now and uploaded a better example of my picture. The contrast in the hair is now shown more like it is in reality.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactAs far as works in progress go, this looks absolutely outstanding. I mean the shading and highlights of the face and hair are breathtaking! The blending is so smooth that it simply looks like a photograph especially along the cheek. My favorite parts are the hair and the lips. The detail you work with is just amazing, and in pencil no less!
Upon closer look, I believe that the irises along with the pupils are too small. I don't think it would be that difficult to fix, however you know more about pencil than I do.
But I must end on a positive note. Seriously, this looks like a photograph. Keep up the excellent work! I can't wait to see it finished! <img src="e.deviantart.com/emoticons/d/d…" width="29" height="21" alt="
" title="Dance!" />5 for vision, because this is such a beautiful image. 5 for originality, because as far as portraits go, I believe this is very soft and natural looking. 4.5 for technique because the eyes need a little work. 4.5 for impact because her look is so intense yet... well, it's still a WIP! xD
